One of the most prolific and highly regarded presenters of community programming, Jamie Rich has been successfully producing cultural events and educational programs in the Greater Kansas City area for the past twenty-five years. Known for his audience-centric approach, Jamie continues to be the creative force behind a diverse line-up of film, theatre and musical programs as well as life-enhancing classes, workshops and special events.

Jamie and his business partner Liz Brown formed Open Circle in 2004 as a creative services production company that also provides marketing, administrative and operational support to groups, individuals and community initiatives looking better connect with their customers. In 2005, Jamie launched the popular Open Circle Spiritual Cinema Series, a on-going showcase of movies that matter.

Jamie serves as the Festival Director for the Kansas City Gay & Lesbian Film Festival, a position he has held for the past eleven seasons. As an audience development consultant, Jamie has worked with scores of churches, non-profit organizations and community groups looking to enhance and expand their outreach.

Many remember Jamie as the founding Managing Director of the Cornerstone Foundation at Unity Temple on the Plaza where he established their National Speaker Series featuring Wayne Dyer, Deepak Chopra, Marianne Williamson and scores of other presenters. Jamie has coordinated national tours for a number of best-selling authors and artists, and has provided marketing and strategic planning support to small business owners and social entrepreneurs throughout the country.

Jamie earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Directing from the University of Kansas and holds a Master of Fine Arts Degree from the University of Miami where he taught theater management for several years.
